I turned 36 last week and I am jobless, homeless, and I couldn't be happier. We sold our house in one weekend. I was hopeful it would sell fast, but this was shocking! I've worked for the same company for almost 8 years. It's been a rewarding position, but I am ready for a new adventure. My new job title goes a little something like this...mommy, wife, freelance graphic designer. I am beyond excited that I will be staying home with Sawyer. It's such an honor. I am also super lucky to be able to work out of my home. I love what I do and I couldn't give it up. It's apart of who I am, but it's about finding balance between work and family. By day I will be mommy and by night I will be a designer.
SO...the big question is where are we moving? Hmm...maybe the title of this post gave it away..Portland, Oregon! Visiting Oregon was like finding a hidden gem. You don't know why the rest of the world does not know about. Shh...don't tell anyone. I want it to stay that way. It is true...you have to like the weather. WE DO!
